A five-year-old was crossing State Street with his older sisters when he was struck by a vehicle. The child was transported in serious condition. Investigation ongoing.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired and found and stopped two suspects nearby. A 17-year-old was booked on several counts of discharge of a firearm and other charges. Jordan Johnson, 19, was booked for fleeing and other charges. There were no reported injuries.
