510 E. 1300 S.
Two men entered the business at this address and pointed a handgun at the victim demanding money. Both suspects were 25-30 years old, wearing black beanie caps. The first suspect is described as a black male adult with a goatee and glasses, wearing a bright blue shirt with orange “Florida” lettering and black pants. The second suspect is described as black male adult, clean shaven, wearing a tan colored long sleeve button up flannel shirt with a white shirt underneath. The suspects fled the area.
1435 S. State St.
Witnesses inside a business observed a man kick a dog multiple times. Witnesses called police. A patron of the business went outside and spoke with the man. The man was intoxicated and belligerent. The man approached the patron and began yelling at him. The patron then pulled out a concealed handgun and pointed it at the man. The patron then went back into the business until police arrived. Officers booked Jessie Brown, 36, into jail for torture of an animal and public intoxication. Animal control took possession of the dog.
336 W. 300 N.
A man was counting money at the counter when a male adult entered the business and demanded the cash. The suspect took the cash and left the area on a black mountain bike. The suspect is described as a white male adult, 20-30 years of age, 180 pounds, approximately 5 foot 4 inches tall with a dirty blonde goatee, wearing a mustard orange beanie, blue or black hoodie, and baggie jeans.
1340 S. 200 E.
A female victim, 25, heard an argument going on in front of her apartment and walked out to find a woman yelling near the street. The woman left when the victim asked what was going on. The female victim was then hit in the head from behind without warning. When the victim went inside she found two lacerations on the side of her head. Officers located a pair of scissors. A witness recognized the woman and was able to show officers where she lived. Officers located and booked Mandy Adams, 51, into jail for aggravated assault.
