500 W. 400 S.
A truck was westbound on 400 South from 400 West when it struck the rear of a vehicle traveling west at approximately 430 West. The truck then jumped the curb at 400 South Rio Grande Street hitting two light poles, a power pole and then two pedestrians. The pedestrians were on the sidewalk at approximately 460 West 400 South. It was determined that the driver may have suffered a medical issue. One pedestrian was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The other pedestrian was transported for non-life threatening injuries.
