Traffic accident/ Vehicle fire
3760 W. 500 S.
A man was driving his vehicle westbound on 500 south when he failed to negotiate the turn at approximately 3670 West. The vehicle left the roadway, went through a chain link fence and collided with two large commercial trailers in the yard of Great Western Landscaping. The vehicle caught fire, damaging both trailers and one parked nearby. Although there were no other people on scene, the occupant claims that one of his friends was driving and that he was in the back seat at the time of the accident. The man was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
