Fleeing/Hit and run
1000 S. State St.
Officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed through a school zone. An attempt was made to stop the vehicle, however the vehicle fled. As the vehicle was fleeing it hit two other cars. Officers located the vehicle near some apartments. Three individuals exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Containment was set up and two of the suspects were located. Officers booked the juvenile driver into detention for felony fleeing and hit and run.

Officers were called to a protest at the Wells Fargo building. Initially a large group entered the lobby and began chanting and disrupting business. Officers were able to convince the majority of the group to leave, however nine of the protestors refused to leave. One of the protestors received a citation and left. The other eight protestors stated that they wanted to go to jail. Those eight individuals were arrested and booked into jail for trespassing and failure to disperse.

A male adult, 29, confronted his juvenile nephew about his runaway status and about being in his home. A struggle ensued and the juvenile stabbed the victim. Other family members came to the aid of the victim and the suspect fled the scene holding the knife. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The suspect has been identified however he has not been located.
