621 E. 400 S.
A man was inside a restaurant causing a disturbance. An employee escorted the man out of the restaurant and an altercation occurred. The employee struck the victim several times and then left the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. Officers located and booked Duane Massie, 23, into jail for aggravated assault.
1465 E. 2100 S.
Two men entered a business and demanded money from an employee working the register. One of the suspects was holding an object in his hand and stated that he had a gun. The first suspect is described as Hispanic male adult in his 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, heavy build, with a purple bandana over his face wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult in his 30s with a thin build, wearing a dark blue hoodie.
1003 N. Starcrest Dr.
A woman was sitting at her kitchen table when several shots were fired at her house. One round came through the front door and hit the victim in the leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
210 S. Rio Grande St.
A man was attacked by a suspect with an empty beer bottle. The victim received a large laceration to his head and was transported to a local hospital. Officers located and booked Kuot Ayat, 31, into jail for aggravated assault.
341 S. 400 E.
A male juvenile reported that he was walking on 400 East when he was approached by a man who asked if he could use the victim’s phone. The victim told the suspect no and then the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his property. The suspect then left the area on foot. The suspect was not located. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult in his 20s, with a thin mustache, wearing a purple hoodie and tan cargo pants.
