A man was approached by two male suspects The first suspect attempted to strike the victim with a machete. The victim was able to run and was then stopped by the second suspect who pointed a gun at the victim. The two men fled on foot and were taken into custody by officers. Officers booked David Slaughter, 38, and Anthon Lanier, 23, into jail for aggravated assault and fleeing. The handgun turned out to be a very realistic looking toy gun.

Dispatch received several calls about two vehicles shooting at each other. When officers arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg along with several bullet holes in his vehicle Witnesses reported that a second vehicle fled the area. Dispatch later received a call that a man arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his wrist. Officers responded to the hospital and found the man along with a second vehicle with bullet holes in it. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers observed a man and woman making multiple drug deals in the Rio Grande district. Officers observed another female buying drugs from the two and they took all three suspects into custody. Officers booked Anthony Martinez, 19, and Kellis Torres-Rosales, 26, into jail for distribution of drugs. Charges will be screened against the third woman for possession of drugs.

A man confronted another male about being sold imitation drugs. A fight ensued and the man was stabbed in the neck. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and the suspect fled the scene and has not been located. The suspect has been identified by officers and the investigation is ongoing.
