1100 S. Gladiola St.
A man was driving north on Gladiola Street when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound. The impact caused the victim’s vehicle to roll on to its side and hit a box truck that was stopped at the intersection. The man was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Two occupants of the westbound vehicle were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
154 W. 600 S.
Witnesses reported seeing a man pour gasoline into a vehicle, light it on fire and then flee the area. Fire responded and extinguished the car. The vehicle was listed stolen. Officers located the suspect and he was positively identified by the witnesses. Property was found on the suspect linking him to a vehicle burglary. Officers booked Justin Cromar, 34, into jail for arson, vehicle burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of a stolen vehicle.
Trespassing/Assault on police officer
11 E. 1700 S.
A man was stopped for trespassing. While Officers were speaking with the suspect he fled on foot. Officers caught the man and he assaulted them. Officers booked Damon Pitts, 25, into jail for fleeing on foot, assault on a police officer and trespassing.
400 N. 1200 W.
Two men were upset over a drug deal so they went to a home and demanded a refund. The suspects kicked the door open and pointed guns at a man and his family stating they would shoot them. A woman gave the men some money and they left in a maroon Chevy truck. The suspects were white male adults. The first suspect has blonde hair with a dark hoodie. The second suspect has brown shaven hair wearing a white shirt and a white hat.
