6:11 p.m.
Distribution of Cocaine and Heroin
300 South, 500 West

The downtown bike unit observed 4 individuals working in concert to distribute cocaine and heroin on the west side of the shelter. Enoch Sellers, Stephanie Sedgley, (43) and Darwin Lozano (21) were taken into custody. Preston Purser (21), was also arrested for purchasing drugs from the suspects involved. Approximately 100 twists of cocaine and heroin and $500 cash were seized. Sellers, Sedgley, Lozano, and Zuniga-Navarro were booked into jail for distribution of cocaine and heroin, and possession of cocaine and heroin with the intent to distribute. Purser was booked into jail for felony warrants and possession of cocaine and heroin.

8:36 p.m.
956 W. 1000 N.

A male black, 20 years of age, skinny, wearing a black coat and yellow beanie entered the El Cabrito business and walked to the cash register. The suspect, armed with a gun demanded money. The waitress/victim, gave the suspect money and he fled Eastbound on 1000 N.

12:36 a.m.
Traffic Accident – Life Flight –
2350 North Beck Street

The (28 yrs. old) female victim, was driving northbound on Beck, when suspect James GALE (33) struck her head on. Gale was going the wrong way (South) on a one way roadway. The victim was taken by Life Flight to the hospital with serious injuries. Gale was arrested for DUI, and accident Investigators are actively working the case. Investigation ongoing.

3:03 a.m.
Agency Assist – Traffic Stop on Robbery Suspects
1468 W. 1300 S.

Information regarding an aggravated robbery which had just occurred in West Valley was relayed over the radio. The suspects were reported to be driving a white Chevrolet Avalanche and described as two Polynesian Males. A short time later, Detectives observed a white Avalanche in the Glendale area. It appeared to be occupied by two Polynesians and matched the description provided. They stopped the vehicle as it pulled into a driveway near the area of 1400 W 1300 S. Salt Lake City patrol and additional detectives responded to assist. The vehicle was occupied by Zane Walton, Trevor Ludwick, and Eliki Fonua. All were taken in custody without incident while the investigation was completed. During the course of the investigation, Detectives located a firearm and the property stolen during the robbery inside the truck. All suspects and the vehicle were turned over to West Valley Police.
