Officers approached a vehicle parked on 300 South and observed the driver packaging drugs. When the driver saw the officers he attempted to flee, but was stopped at a nearby apartment complex where officers took him into custody. Officers booked Daniel Weilacher, 40, into jail for possession with intent, possession of paraphernalia and felony fleeing.

Two men entered the store and approached the cash register. One of the men produced a handgun and demanded cash. After the employee complied the suspects fled the store. Both suspects were described as black male adults, thin builds, wearing dark hoodies, and bandanas.
