An officer was working speed enforcement and conducted a traffic stop on a motorist identified as Terry Bluth, 40. Bluth jumped from his vehicle holding a large kitchen knife and instructed the officer to “Just shoot me.” Bluth advanced on the officer with the knife, the officer responded by deploying a Taser. Bluth fell to the ground but still attempted to assault the officer with the knife. Bluth was finally taken into custody by the officer. Terry was booked into jail for aggravated assault on a police officer.
