Two suspects arrived at the Seven Eleven in a black Subaru Outback. One of the suspects entered the store with a black long gun and demanded cash. The store clerk refused and the suspect left the store. Both suspects described as Hispanic male adults, 25 years old, short black hair and thin build. The suspect that entered the store was wearing a grey coat, grey beanie with a black bandana over his face. The second suspect was wearing a black and grey stripped hooded sweatshirt.

Officers spotted the stolen vehicle involved in the above described incident. The vehicle was observed at 1300 South State Street. When Officers activated their emergency equipment the suspect fled and a pursuit was initiated. The driver of the vehicle, Zachary Workman, 25, lost control of the vehicle he was driving and struck a concrete wall. Workman was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The weapon used in the earlier robbery was found in the vehicle. Workman was booked into jail for robbery and fleeing.
DUI/Hit and run/Fleeing

Officers made a traffic stop on a suspected DUI and when they approached the driver he fled northbound. Officers did not follow but soon after heard a loud crash near Salt Lake Community College. They spotted the vehicle which had crashed in the parking lot east of the college after taking out a couple cement barriers, signs and trees. The suspect fled from the vehicle and containment was set up. Officers located suspect, Deng Koyom, 33, and booked him into jail for DUI, hit and run, fleeing and driving on a denied license.
