Officers responded to the dispatched address and made contact with the victim who said that he had been assaulted by his neighbor. Officers attempted to make contact with the neighbor, Richard Duncombe, 42, but for a time he refused to come out of his residence. After further communication Duncombe willingly came out. He was booked into jail for aggravated assault, public intoxication, and possession of a firearm by and intoxicated person. Victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
