A man was loading his flatbed truck when a male got in and drove away in the truck. Witnesses followed the suspect to 1690 West 300 South where he attempted to back the truck into the witnesses. The suspect ran the truck into a cement barrier and attempted to flee on foot but was captured by officers. Officers booked Damian Bane, 19, into jail for vehicle theft, assault on a police officer, aggravated assault, fleeing, false information and vandalism.
