775 S. Post Street
Witnesses reported hearing one gunshot and saw a male pointing a handgun at a female. The male suspect and female victim left the area in a silver Pontiac. Officers responded and located a bullet hole in the front door of the listed address. A warrant was written by detectives and SWAT was called to the scene to serve the warrant. The residence was cleared with no one inside. Officers were late informed that the kidnap victim was at a local hospital. Detectives responded and spoke with the victim. The suspect is still outstanding.
265 S. 500 W.
According to witnesses, a fight broke out at this location between several males. One male was stabbed in the neck by another male. The suspect then got into the passenger seat of a dark colored (possibly brown) Infiniti sedan and left the scene. The suspect is described as a black male adult with an “afro”. The victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition but was later upgraded to stable condition.
50 S. 600 W.
Officers were called to assist Union Pacific Railroad on an industrial accident. A female was lying on the railroad tracks in the area of 50 South 600 West. A train was in the process of traveling to its destination when the train ran her over. The female had a severed leg and arm. She was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Union Pacific Railroad is conducting the investigation.
