Fugitive arrest

Dispatch received a call of a suspicious person at the Doubletree Hotel. Guests of the hotel were followed by this male and thought he was acting strange. The male then motioned to the guests that he may need their help. One guest saw the suspect go into a room so he went to see if the man was okay. At this time, the good Samaritan found himself being attacked by the suspect which was unprovoked. The guests called police. The suspect was not a guest of the hotel and had trespassed into a vacant room. Officers arrived and took the suspect in custody. Officers booked Damien Santio, 20, into jail for assault and trespassing. It was also determined that the subject has a U.S. Marshall’s warrant.
