7:06 a.m.
550 W. 500 S.

A male violently attacked two men who were camping under the underpass at this location. The suspect then attacked a male that was standing at the garage entrance to the storage business at 501 South 500 West. The suspect then attacked another man sitting at the front doors to the storage business. One of the victims, 55, died on scene from injuries. Witnesses were able to direct officers to the suspect. Officers booked Kepedro Kegler, 42, into jail for aggravated murder and 3 counts of attempted murder. Three victims, 35, 58, 40 were all transported to local hospitals.

1:11 a.m.
1300 W. Mead Ave.

A woman heard a crash and looked outside to see a car had crashed into her vehicle that was parked on the street. Four people exited and fled on Mead Ave. The victim’s son chased after the suspects. The suspects ran through the playground of Parkview Elementary School. As the suspects neared the north fence, one shot was fired toward the son giving chase. The son stopped chasing the suspects. Officers were unable to locate the suspects. Investigation ongoing.

1:39 a.m.
360 S. 400 W.

Police received calls of shots fired west of Pioneer Park. Officers found a male on the sidewalk with what appeared to be a bullet wound. The man was declared deceased at the scene. The victim has been identified as Shawn J. Manymules, age 26. Investigation ongoing.
