SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department will be involved in several events throughout the city in support of the National Night Out Against Crime campaign. The National Night Out Against Crime is always held the first Tuesday in August. This year it falls on August 1st.
Representatives from the department will be at the Groove in the Grove festival located at the Pioneer Precinct located at 1040 West 700 South from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. There will also be a Bike Rodeo at this location. Children are encouraged to bring a bike as well as bike safety equipment. Officers will also be at Fairmont Park from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Officers will be attending some of the local neighborhood parties as well. Please come out and join us for a night of fun.
