A man entered the store, selected items and attempted to exit without paying. When confronted, the suspect punched the employee in the face and fled. The suspect was described as a white male adult, 50 years old, with short dirty blonde hair, a scruffy face, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
200 S. State St.
A group was crossing State Street in a crosswalk when a southbound vehicle struck two of the pedestrians, females, 31 and 21. Both victims sustained injuries, one severe head injuries, and were transported to local hospitals. Investigation ongoing.
