1785 S. State St.
A vehicle was headed Northbound on State Street when it struck a female that was trying to cross the road. The female was not in a designated crosswalk and was crossing mid-block. The female was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The accident reconstruction team was called out to investigate.
1340 S. 200 E.
Officers observed an occupied stolen red 1996 Acura Integra being driven in the area. Additional units responded and a felony stop was conducted and the two occupants were taken safely into custody. The driver, Roberta Ortega 34, was arrested for theft by receiving motor vehicle. The passenger was released on-scene.
1893 S. 500 E.
The victim was riding her bicycle east along Westminster when her way was blocked by an olive green Chevy Venture. The victim said four to five Hispanic males came out of the van, one of whom grabbed her and removed her from her bicycle while taking her purse.
