Assault on a police officer

A man was seen by store employees hitting a marked police car. Officers who were working part time at the store were notified and attempted to arrest the man. The suspect fought with officers, and attempted to kick officers. Officers gained control of the suspect and took him into custody. Police booked Vincente Brito, 27, into jail for assault on a police officer, criminal mischief, public intoxication, and warrants.
