Officers responded on shoplifters who were fighting with security. One of the suspects threatened to shoot security however no weapon was seen. Officers engaged the suspect and he resisted arrest. A Taser was used and the suspect was taken into custody. Officers booked Paul Yarber, 43, into jail for possession of a controlled substance, retail theft, resisting arrest, assault, trespassing, threat of violence, and false information. Officers booked Mercedee Houser, 43, into jail for retail theft, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a drug paraphernalia.

Officers stopped an individual suspected of breaking into cars when an uninvolved man tried to intervene on the suspect’s behalf. The man was extremely intoxicated. He kicked several officers and spit on them. The suspect was taken into custody. Officers booked David Landa, 21, into jail for interference, assault on a police officer, and public intoxication.
