Officers observed a suspicious vehicle running in the parking lot of the City Creek Inn. When the officers approached the vehicle they observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. Once the two occupants were secured, more drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, heroin, stolen property and a handgun were located. Officers booked Justine North, 29, and Jerime Montoya, 23, into jail on multiple charges.

A victim of a vehicle theft observed his stolen truck driving near 900 South 300 West. Officers located the vehicle and took William Harvey, 47, into custody. A large amount of stolen property was found in the vehicle. Officers booked Harvey into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of stolen property.
300-400 W. 200-300 N.
Several cars were broken into while the drivers were at the Jazz game. All vehicles were accessed by breaking windows. Hundreds of dollars’ worth of property, including computer equipment, were stolen. No suspect information available.
