A woman gave a man a ride in her car. She also offered the man some money to help him out. When she opened her wallet the suspect grabbed all her cash and fled leaving his jacket and identifying documents in the car. Officers located the suspect and took him into custody. Officers booked Ahmed Jama, 32, into jail for robbery.

3:16 a.m.
756 S. 200 E.

A man was asleep when he heard glass break and went to investigate. The victim located the suspect in the front area of his building and determined that he had forced entry through the front door with a rock. The man was told he needed to leave and the suspect threatened to assault the victim with the rock. The suspect then stole a pool cue and left the building. Officers located the suspect and he fled on foot. He was then taken into custody. Officers booked Michael Arrington, 48, into jail for aggravated burglary, theft and fleeing on foot.
