Aggravated assault and resisting arrest

Officers responded to a man threatening the front desk employee at the Gateway Inn with a gun. When officers arrived they identified Darren Fayson, 53, as the suspect and attempted to take him into custody. Fayson refused to comply with instructions given and started to fight with officers. Other officers arrived on scene and Fayson was taken safely into custody. Fayson was booked into jail on charges of aggravated assault, possession of a controlled substance, interfering with an arresting officer, possession of spice, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass.
