Officers responded on reports of two pit bull dogs threatening a man. While attempting to corral the dogs an officer was bit on the hand. Pepper spray was used on the dog and the dogs retreated and were contained in the house. Animal Control responded and took the dog into custody. The owner of the dog was cited for having animals at large.
916 W. North Temple St.
A man stole a phone and officers stopped the suspect. After the phone was surrendered the suspect fled on foot. Officers chased the suspect and located the suspect as he fled from a yard. Officers booked Christopher Weathers, 32, into jail for theft and fleeing on foot.
