550 W. 600 S.
A male was observed straddling the fence on the I-80 off-ramp near 600 South where it joins the I-15 600 South off-ramp. When officers arrived the male was no longer on the fence but standing on the off-ramp acting erratically and holding a folded pocket knife. The male would not communicate with officers. Officers blocked traffic to prevent a possible traffic incident. The male began to run as he did so he opened a folding knife. Officers were able to use a CED to subdue the male. He was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
