Several witnesses in the area reported hearing a woman scream followed by the victim being thrown from a second story window. The victim was bleeding from her arms and legs and claiming that a man was trying to stab her. Witnesses stated that after the victim was thrown from the window a male left the area on a bike and the victim returned to the apartment. Officers responded and located the victim in the apartment. The victim stated the male had chased her around the apartment with a large knife and threatened to stab her. The suspect is believed to be a male acquaintance of the victim, he has not been located at this time.
