1090 S. 300 W.
A man was waiting in his vehicle in the parking lot west of the Wendy’s when he woke up to find his vehicle inside the Wendy’s. There were no injuries. It is unknown what caused the incident.
North Temple St. and Redwood Rd.
A man exchanged words with another male at a campsite. The suspect pulled out a knife and became angry. As the victim and others started to flee the victim tripped and fell. The suspect stabbed the victim in the calf. The suspect fled northbound with a female into the neighborhood. Officers and K-9 searched the area without success. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The suspect is described as a white male adult, 6 feet 2 inches tall, thin build and was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and shorts.
300 S. Foss St.
A man arrived in a vehicle and observed the occupants of two other cars having a conflict. Somebody from one of the other cars fired several shots. The victim thought the shooter was firing at the other car, but is unsure. The car the victim was in was hit in the trunk. The round went through the trunk and hit the victim in the upper leg / buttocks area. The bullet did not penetrate and only bruised the victim. The victim was treated on scene. The suspect vehicles fled. The victim and witnesses were unable to give a suspect description.
1860 S. Redwood Rd.
A man was approached by five or six black male adults. The suspects assaulted the victim and took his property. No suspect description. Investigation ongoing.
