Compiled by Watch Commanders in the field, the Watch Log is a summary of events that stand out to them in a given 24-hour period. Call times listed are approximate and typically reflect the first call received by SLC911 (Dispatch) for a given case. 1795 S. Main St.
Officers responded to an assault in progress. A female who was known to the victim knocked at the victim’s back door. As the victim opened the door, she was immediately assaulted. The victim was able to shut the door on the suspect. The victim’s neighbor followed the suspect to the front of the residence and confronted the suspect. The suspect produced a knife and cut the second victim several times. Darci Drage, 54, was booked into jail for aggravated assault. The victims were treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.

Officers observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle attempted to flee when officers approached. Officers were able to take the driver into custody. It was found that the driver was on probation for distribution of a controlled substance. The suspect was found in possession of scales and drug paraphernalia. Jose Ledezma, 34, was booked for no driver’s license, no insurance, no registration, paraphernalia, and fleeing.

A citizen observed a vehicle driving erratically and called police. The driver was described and the plate and vehicle description was given by the caller. Officers responded and found the vehicle in the area with a male sitting nearby, matching the description of the driver as given by the witness. Officers approached the male who had an open container of alcohol and appeared to be intoxicated and was confrontational. Officers found the vehicle to be stolen. Tukka Gonne, 20, was booked into jail for public intoxication, drinking and possession of alcohol by an underage person and stolen vehicle.

780 N. 900 W.
Officers observed a suspicious vehicle, later found to be stolen, pull into a parking stall at the above location. As officers approached the vehicle, the driver drove the vehicle over the curb and onto the grass fleeing from officers. The suspect vehicle eventually crashed into one of the buildings and three occupants fled on foot. Officers were able to detain Jayce Fiaui-Kane, 29, who was booked into jail for warrants and fleeing. Two female suspects, one of which is believed to be the driver of the stolen vehicle, are still outstanding.
