701 E. 400 S.
A male entered the above location and presented a note to the teller to give him money. The male left with an undisclosed amount of money. A photo of the suspect was quickly disseminated to police in the area. UTA Police were able to locate the suspect on TRAX train and watched as he went into a business in the area of 800 W. North Temple. Officers responded and took the male into custody. Primitivo Brown, 23, was booked into jail for robbery.
Assault on a police officer
1000 W. South Temple St.
An officer approached a female to speak with her about camping at the above location. The female began to fight with the officer and was taken into custody. It was found that the female had warrants for her arrest. Officers booked Amour Buk, 24, into jail for assault on a police officer, interfering and warrants.
867 N. Maple Tree Ct.
A victim answered a knock at his door. Two Hispanic adults, a male and a female, entered the residence and began to assault the victim. During the assault the victim was stabbed in the face. The two suspects left with cash, a laptop and a phone. The victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
