4:33 p.m. Fatal train-pedestrian accident 900 S. 650 W.
An unidentified male attempted to cross under a moving northbound Union Pacific train. Video showed him drop to the ground and attempt to roll under the train. He was caught and pulled along the tracks. Homicide detectives responded. The Office of the Medical Examiner took custody of the body.
2:00 a.m. Robbery
275 S West Temple St.
Two men were assaulted and robbed in a parking lot. The suspects have been identified, but not located. This is possibly gang related. Investigation ongoing.
