996 S. Redwood Road
The female victim was walking Northbound on the east side of Redwood Road when the suspect Ousmane Camara, 28, ran across the street from the African Market at the above address and struck the victim in the face several times. Camara then dragged the victim across Redwood Road into the parking lot of the market. Other market patrons saw what was happening and intervened and called police. Officers arrived and took Camara into custody, he was booked into jail for kidnapping and assault. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
