Officers responded to a call of a fight at the Cheers to You bar. Witnesses said 3-4 males assaulted a man. When officers arrived the victim was unconscious and was subsequently transported to a local hospital in critical condition. One of the suspects is described as a 23 year old male adult with a medium-complexion, very short hair and a small tattoo near his eye.

Two groups were involved in an altercation at the Wasted Space bar located at 342 South State Street. The altercation continued to a nearby parking garage at 55 East Exchange Place. On the lower-level of the parking garage, a suspect fired several shots and a male victim was struck and was declared deceased at the scene. The suspects fled in a vehicle. The victim has been identified as David Lawrence Burwell, age 25. Investigation ongoing.
