Burglary in progress

Officers responded on a burglary in progress. The business owner called police stating he was holding the burglar. Officers arrived and located suspect, Willard Kirchmann (19) in the victim business. Kirchmann admitted to breaking the window and entering the business with bolt cutters with the intent to steal a bike from the business. Kirchmann also admitted to breaking into the business two other times and stealing bikes. Kirchmann was booked into jail for 3 counts of burglary, 3 counts of theft and possession of burglary tools.
