Fatal hit & run arrest
832 W. Arapahoe Ave.

Detectives located the suspect vehicle involved in the fatal hit and run from the previous night. A short time later the involved driver was identified, located and interviewed. Officers booked Sotero Valerio Torres, 36, into jail for felony three hit and run causing injury or death.

Aggravated burglary
1119 S. Glendale Dr.

Four males entered a home and demanded money and property. When the residents told the suspects they had no money they were punched and hit with a bat. At least one of the suspects had a handgun. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. One of the victims was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and the other three victims were treated on scene. The suspects were not located and are described as taller light skinned males with their faces covered by bandanas. Investigation ongoing.
