Recovered stolen firearm
215 W. South Temple St.
Radisson Hotel security staff located a male passed out with a handgun concealed in his pants. Officers approached the suspect, secured the weapon and took him into custody. The firearm was confirmed stolen out of another agency. Officers booked Jeffrey Eugene Beasley, 35, into jail for theft by receiving stolen property, carrying a weapon by a restricted person, possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication.

A Seven Eleven clerk observed a suspect committing a theft. The clerk confronted the suspect and retrieved the merchandise from him. The suspect told the employee that he was going to come back and shoot him as he snatched other food items from the shelf while he was leaving. The suspect is described as a black male adult wearing a green North Star cap, green boots and a black hoodie. The suspect was heavy set and drove a newer gold BMW 7 series.
