Stolen Vehicle

Detectives observed a stolen vehicle pulling into a motel. While waiting for additional officers to arrive the vehicle began to pull away from the room the suspect just visited. Officers stopped the vehicle before leaving the parking lot and took the driver into custody. Officers booked Jared Parks, 47, into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle.

A man was parked in the parking garage when he was approached by two suspects who threatened him with a weapon and demanded he exit the vehicle.  The victim complied and the suspects took property from inside the car and off his person. The suspects fled on foot. The first  suspect is described as a black male adult in his late 20’s, 5 feet 7 inches tall, slim build, long beard, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans armed with a weapon. The second suspect is described as a black male adult in his late 20’s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, slim build, long beard, wearing a Levi jacket, black pants and a hat with a “G” on it.

Robbery

Officers responded on a hit and run and determined that a man had been robbed. The victim met the suspects on social media and agreed to bring them some marijuana. The suspects took the victims marijuana and backpack. The suspects then fired a handgun as the victim resisted. The bullet struck the victims vehicle. As the victim drove away he collided with several parked cars.  The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, age 18, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, thin build, black hoodie pink/orange design and buzzed hair.  The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, about 20 years old, wearing a gray hoodie, armed with a handgun.
