Hit and run, fleeing, DUI
2100 S State St.
Jessica Cannon, 30, was driving her car, a Gold Chevrolet Blazer, Southbound in the Northbound lanes of State St. and collided with another vehicle in the intersection with 2100 S, causing her car to roll. She exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot but was followed by witnesses. Officers spotted her and she attempted to flee on foot, Officers quickly caught her and took her into custody. Cannon was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident and then to jail for DUI, hit and run, interfering and resisting arrest. Items found in the car may lead to other charges.

Dispatch received calls about shots being fired on Haslam Circle. A witness reported seeing a possible maroon Chrysler 300 pull onto the street and an occupant of the vehicle discharging a weapon in the air. Four shell casings were found but there was no reported damage.
