The suspect walked into the Maverick wearing a mask the suspect was told he couldn’t be in the store wearing the mask so he left and returned without the mask on. He selected a sandwich and left the store. The clerk followed him out and confronted him about the unpaid item. The suspect showed a weapon in his waistband and threatened the clerk. The clerk retreated back into the store to call police as the suspect left the area on foot. The suspect is described as a 40-year-old male, 6 feet tall, medium build, gray hair and goatee, wearing a black hoodie, white shirt, and dark pants. The sandwich was identified as a Club sandwich.
