The victim was making a purchase at the 7-11, when he was followed out of the store by the suspect who engaged him in conversation. The victim then walked toward his apartment. A short time later the suspect approached from a vehicle that held three other occupants. The victim was then informed to turn over his money as the suspect brandished a weapon. The suspect fled the scene in the vehicle and the victim called police. Officers located the suspect vehicle with the occupants fitting the description. Officers located the property of the victim inside the car, along with a black BB gun. Robert Dean, 22, was arrested for robbery. The other occupants of the vehicle were not charged.
