1125 N. Redwood Road
A group of people were at the pool house of the apartments located at the above address. Witnesses described a red extended cab truck in the area and a passenger from that truck shooting towards the group of people. The truck circled the complex and a passenger fired a second time. No injuries or damage to property were reported. Five shell casings were recovered. The suspect vehicle was last seen driving north on Redwood Road.
300 S. West Temple
The victim was approached by three males that asked him for some beer. The victim stated he did not have any beer. One suspect produced a weapon saying he would kill the victim if they didn’t get the beer. The second suspect began to punch the victim. The victim escaped the area and called police. Officers located the three suspects. Yia Deng, 33, and Yusuf Sheik, 38, were booked into jail for aggravated robbery, the third suspect did not participate in the robbery and was released.
