The suspect tried to use a counterfeit $50-dollar bill. The clerk at the store refused to accept the bill as legal tender and would not make change for the suspect. The suspect got upset and forced his way behind the counter and attempted to strike the clerk, while trying to grab other counterfeit bills that had been on display behind the counter. William Mckivrigain, 50, was arrested and booked into jail for robbery.
