Vehicle Burglary, Possession, Escaping
565 E. 600 S.
Officers responded to a report of an assault. Upon arrival the victim indicated he had located the suspect in his vehicle and confronted him. The suspect then punched the victim and fled on foot. Officers were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody. When the suspect learned he was going back to prison he attempted to flee on foot. The suspect sustained injuries from his attempt to jump a fence while handcuffed. After being treated at a local hospital Goldie Pledger, 28, was booked into jail for vehicle burglary, assault, possession with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, escape and resisting arrest.

A male and female were sitting in a car when they were confronted by a male friend of the female. The male in the vehicle exited to talk with the second male. While outside of the vehicle the male from the car fired a round from a handgun, possibly trying to scare the male on foot. The male on foot stabbed the male from the vehicle multiple times. The female transported the stab victim to a local hospital. Evidence recovered on scene. Investigation ongoing.

While responding to a 911 hang-up call officers encountered a male in a room at the hotel. Officers observed a handgun and equipment to produce fraudulent documents in the room. Investigation ongoing.
