1815 S. 4650 W.
A black pickup truck sideswiped another vehicle at 1800 S. Bangerter Highway. The pickup truck fled the scene and the victim began looking for the pickup. The victim located the pickup parked off the road and attempted to contact the driver, however the pickup sped off. At the above listed address, the pickup truck drove underneath a parked cargo container. The driver of the pickup, Philip Naclerio, 57, was pronounced dead on the scene. Investigation ongoing.
Gun and Drug Arrest
748 N. 900 W.
Officers attempted to contact a group of individuals at the above address. As officers approached several members of the group began to leave quickly. As an officer attempted to contact Cedric Antonio, 37, he began to reach for the waistband area of his pants. The officer quickly controlled Cedric’s arm and took him in to custody. A loaded handgun was found tucked in to Cedric’s pants. Other officers contacted Michael Martinez, 32. Michael was found to have warrants as well as drugs on his person. Cedric was booked in to jail for possession of a weapon by a restricted person, possession of a concealed firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia. Michael was booked in to jail on multiple warrants, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
2500 S. 500 E.
Officers were dispatched to the above area on an assault. They contacted the victim who indicated his neighbor was intoxicated and had come to his home uninvited. The victim stated the neighbor refused to leave and eventually assaulted him. Officers located the neighbor as his residence and found he was intoxicated. Ryan Stark, 47, was booked in to jail on charges of burglary, assault, criminal mischief and intoxication.
