Compiled by Watch Commanders in the field, the Watch Log is a summary of events that stand out to them in a given 24-hour period. Timothy Gurule, 64, had felony arrest warrants for weapon possession and drug distribution. As officers attempted to contact him regarding these warrants, Gurule ran into his house and refused all attempts to call him out. SWAT, crisis intervention team, negotiators and social workers all responded to the scene. Officers were eventually able to contact Gurule via phone and he surrendered without incident and was booked in to jail on his warrants.

Officers responded on a suspicious vehicle call. While attempting to contact the owner of the vehicle an unknown male fled on foot. Aaron Romine, 44, was apprehended a short time later and booked in to jail for fleeing on foot and providing false information.
Strong Arm Robbery
1029 S. 900 W.
The victim and the suspect were involved in an altercation with two other unidentified parties. During the altercation the suspect took the victims phone and left the scene. The victim went home and returned in his vehicle where he confronted the suspect about his phone. Another fight ensued and the suspect then fled in the victim’s vehicle. Officers located Arlando Jaramillo, 32, and took him in to custody. He was booked in to jail for theft of a vehicle. The victim’s vehicle was returned to him.
