364 S. State Street
A security guard working in the area, was assaulted by an unidentified suspect. Suspect is a 20-30-year-old Hispanic male, wearing purple jeans, a blue sweatshirt and a black baseball hat, carrying a longboard. The suspect hit the victim in the face with the longboard after he was asked to leave multiple times. The suspect then fled the scene and has not been located at this time. The victim suffered substantial injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
1380 S. 900 W.
Officers received information of a stolen Honda Pilot in the above area. One of the officers located the unoccupied stolen Honda Pilot on 900 W. Arriving officers located two subjects nearby. One of the subjects provided a false name to officers, but later provided the correct name. Officers were able to link the name of the located subject as the possible suspect in the stolen vehicle. Raveena Singh, 21, was booked into jail for theft and providing false information to a police officer.
