South Salt Lake PD contacted us to look for a stolen vehicle in the area of 1700 S. West Temple St. Officers arrived in the area and located the vehicle, but it fled from them. Witnesses provided information on direction of travel and an officer located the vehicle unoccupied near the above address. Officers searched the area and located Louie Martinez, 19, he was taken to jail for related charges.

Officers received information that a wanted person was at this address. They responded and knocked at the room the person was in. Francisco Palizios, 52, who had warrants answered the door. Upon seeing officers, attempted to close the door. Officers were able to safely take Palizios into custody. A warrant was obtained for the room and several drugs and paraphernalia were seized. Palizios was booked on warrants and possession with the intent to distribute.

The victim came out to her car to find an unknown male in the driver’s seat of her vehicle. The vehicle had been ransacked and the male was holding cash and credit cards from the victim’s purse. The victim attempted to hold the suspect at bay and was assisted by a neighbor. The neighbor hit the suspect in the head with an aluminum bat to keep him from fleeing. The suspect Erick Perrin, 20, was treated at a local hospital and then booked into jail.
633 S. Bunbury Cove
A man was leaving a party at the above address when he was approached by a Hispanic female who began to assault him. The man’s father who had arrived to pick him up, intervened. A male companion of the female produced a gun and shot the father in the leg. The male and female suspects got into a red pick up and left the area. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The female suspect is described as having strawberry blonde hair, dark jeans and knee-high boots. The male suspect was a Hispanic, no shirt and tattoos covering his body.
