550 S. West Temple St.

The victim was driving on 500 S. passing West Temple when he heard a loud noise. He stopped his car and got out to check on what happened. At that time the suspect Robert Samora, 39, confronted the victim and brandished a knife stabbing the victim in the leg and slashing his hands. The victim’s girlfriend called for police. Samora was taken into custody without incident and booked on aggravated assault charges, as well as possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
