Outside Agency Vehicle Pursuit, Traffic Accident
1300 South 900 East
Unified PD initiated a vehicle pursuit on aggravated assault suspect, the pursuit entered the city. The pursuit terminated at 1300 S. 900 E. when the suspect vehicle collided with another vehicle. The passenger, Misha Maestas, 28, fled on foot into the neighborhood and containment was set up. She was located and taken to jail for warrants. The assault suspect was not located.

Michael Orange, 46, was trying to get into room at the Radisson. Orange was highly agitated and aggressive. When officers approached Orange, he assumed a fighting stance and balled his fists. Orange then rushed towards the primary officer, who deployed his taser. The taser was not effective. A backing officer arrived shortly after the first taser deployment and deployed his taser, this time the taser was affective. While Officers were trying to take Orange into custody, he resisted arrest by placing his arms under his chest. An officer performed a drive stun on Orange. Officers were then able to take Orange into custody. Orange was transported to jail and booked for trespassing, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Aggravated Assault, Hit and Run

Two groups of people were seen in fight in a parking lot downtown. One group was leaving the scene in a burgundy Honda when the driver drove at the other group. One person was struck and received non-life-threatening injuries.
